The Health and Sustainability Unit has a specific focus on research and programs that provide a rational and systematically derived foundation for health policy and programs, and which further the effectiveness of existing health policy. Implicit in this is identifying the evidence base on which policy for the prevention and care of chronic diseases can be based.
