The Sydney Resolution
The OxHA Asia-Pacific Centre led the development of The Sydney Resolution which was the key outcome of OxHA’s annual global summit meeting,Building a Healthy Future: Chronic Diseases and the Environment, in February 2008. The Sydney Resolution is a call to urgent international action at all levels of society to halt the devastating global impact of chronic disease, and promote economic and environmental sustainability. The five points of the Resolution’s framework focus on achieving healthy people in healthy places on a healthy planet.
At its launch in February 2008 over 100 individuals and organisations signed up to The Sydney Resolution. Since then a number organisations have formally adopted the Resolution, including:

How you can help - Donations in support of the Sydney Resolution
The Diabetes Unit’s work to implement the Sydney Resolution is entirely voluntary. The National Heart Foundation and Diabetes Australia–NSW have recently provided funding to assist us in increasing the uptake of the Resolution.
