What is influential public health research?

Stephen Leeder and James Gillespie are Chief Investigators on an NHMRC Project grant that is looking at how population health research workers and policy makers communicate. The study addresses the question as to what the characteristics are of public health research that leads to policy change. The project commenced in early 2009. Interviews with researchers and most of the policy makers have been completed and the project has a substantial number of publications under review
